Kee's February Health Tips

Best Selling Vitiligo Rapid RePigmenting Kit!

I'd like to address the most frequently asked questions that are often asked of new clients.
Vitilgo is a complex disease that requires a holistic, or whole body approach to healing.
That means you need to live a healthful lifestyle, get sunshine daily, when possible, even on cold, cloudy or snowy days. There are healthful UV rays coming through those sometimes overcast skies that help to fight vitiligo directly on the skin. The sun is a powerful life force.
There are many myths about vitiligo and avoiding certain healthful foods such as citrus. Citrus is important to healing the skin and it is important to healing vitiligo. Lemons and limes in water, for example, help to make the system more alkaline. Alkalinity leads to a healthier body that is inhospitable to inflammation. The myths about citrus come from the fact that it is citric acid or sour food. We actually need healthful ascorbic acid, or Vitamin C, and other healthful acids that help to break down foods and extract enzymes and nutrients. Lemons and limes are actually very alkalizing to the system. They do not leave an acidic footprint that would encourage inflammation and disease, so these foods are very good for people with vitiligo and for health in general.
Another myth is that people with vitiligo should avoid the sun. This is completely false and completely dangerous to your health. Avoiding the sun not only encourages pigment loss, it robs us of life sustaining vitamin D3. Vitamin D helps with pigmentation, as it synthesizes directly on the skin. Studies show that vitamin D3 also helps with blood pressure, along with preventing certain cancers and many other diseases. D3 has numerous other healthful benefits. Before medicines were
mass produced in laboratories, sunlight was a major form of healing therapy for many diseases, including tuberculosis. A daily dose of sunshine is a good thing; however, massive amounts of chemically created sunblock is not. In my products, I use natural sunscreen ingredients to help ensure clients don't burn. I also suggest light colored clothing in intense sun. There are many people who buy expensive UV blocking clothing. Not only is this a waste of money, it robs these people of the healthful benefits of sun. Regular dark colored clothing such as black and dark blue, automatically block UV penetration; however, I suggest lighter colored clothing so that some light will penetrate, as we need it to live healthful, long lives and to regain our naturally beautiful skin tones.
Many ask what is the best product if you are new to the regimen. I suggest either the Vitiligo Complete Care Kit or the Vitiligo Rapid RePigmentation Kit for new clients. The kits add the extra boost of complete herbals to balance internally, while attacking vitiligo directly on the skin. For many clients who just want to work on their skin, I suggest both the Vitiligo Herbal Skin Cream Extra Strength and the Vitiligo Pigment Boosting Oil, which are found in the kits as well. These two products contain the essence of my many years of research on vitiligo and practical experience in using these ingredients on myself as well as the thousands of clients and members of VSIG email support group in the 1990s.

Hopefully, this blog has answered some of your questions or concerns about vitiligo and the regimen to start. I'm not concerned about whether vitiligo is segmental or universal. A holistic approach means that we address any dysfunction as one body - one disease. If your body is healthy, your skin will be healthy too!
Skin is our largest organ. It excretes wastes and absorbs nutrients. It is imperative that we get our skin to a healthful state, whether it's vitiligo, eczema, psoriasis, acne, boils, scar tissue or burns.  Getting the skin to a healthful state so that blood and the life force, chi, can move freely, and facilitate healing for flawless, disease-free skin is our ultimate goal.

Food For Thought

Why is it so hard to regain my skin color? I've tried almost everything!

In my book, Wanakee's Nutritional Approach to Vitiligo & Other Autoimmune Diseases, I take you through the successful steps necessary to regain your skin health and skin color.

I cooked this complete protein, nutrient dense lunch in less than 30 minutes, including prep time. We need to get our protein from plants for health. Eating more than 15% of calories from protein raises your risk of cancers. If you're eating more than 15% of your total calories as meat protein, it puts you at very high risk of developing cancers.
Foods have a direct correlation to your overall health and skin health.

My regimen for clients includes dietary changes to help them regain their skin color and to balance the many dysfunctions that are harming them internally as well. My holistic, full body, mind and spirit approach to vitioigo is a winning approach.

Vitiligo sufferers often have sluggish thyroids, which leads to sluggish metabolisms, which leads to sluggish digestion. Breaking down proteins is often a problem for those with vitiligo.  A live, health promoting diet includes protein rich, gluten-free grains, a large variety of fresh, local, in season vegetables, herbs and spices, as well as healthful raw walnuts, chia seeds, hemp hearts, sunflower seeds and other nutrient dense foods, such as kelp noodles and other sea vegetables. These foods are scientifically shown to lower inflammation and to reverse autoimmune responses. Vegetables are easier to digest and contain protein, in additon to vitamins, minerals, enzymes, phytonutrients, chlorophyll and other life sustaining components that promote health and lower inflammation.

Meat and animal milk, on the other hand, are extremely difficult to digest and significantly up the levels of inflammation and negative immune responses that cause and spread diseases, including vitiligo. We are not baby cows, so why drink their milk when there are so many plant and nut based choices that improve and compliment health? Calves weigh 60 pounds at birth, and 600 pounds at 6 months of age. Humans cannot process the proteins, calories and fat of cow's milk, (liquid meat), that is made specifically for the offspring of cows! Most humans never reach 600 pounds! They would likely die before their weight reached that point! So why overburden the bellies of children, teens and adults with cow's milk when we were not made for these foods?

Since animals in the wild stop drinking liquid meat, or milk, from their parents after infancy, so should humans. Vegetables contain easily digestible calcium, protein and fats that improve our digestion. All diseases begin in the stomach, with digestion! Simply by switching to a plant-based diet, or mostly plant-based diet that includes a variety of live foods, grown in organic soils, helps to reverse autoimmune responses and other unhealthful reactions that are brought on by the inability to break down and digest certain proteins, fats and acid producing food items.

I provide detailed instructions on eating healthfully, exercising and other methods of ensuring success in reversing vitiligo naturally in my book, Wanakee's Nutritional Approach to Vitiligo & Other Autoimmune Diseases.

A diet rich in raw, fermented foods, filled with live enzymes and nutrients, helps to improve digestion and nutrient absorption, as well as a healthy body and mind. Choose healthful foods that promote life and a vitiligo-free body.

I encourage clients to make healthful lifestyle choices as part of their vitiligo regimen. It is as important as using the all-natural, exclusive USA Vitiligo Expert & Author, Naturopath Kee's Vitiligo Herbal Skin Cream and Vitiligo Pigment Boosting Oil to stimulate pigmentation and to reverse vitiligo.

Vitiligo, passionately sharing my life's work and my personal trials and triumphs!

I spoke with a new client recently. He was looking for answers. I started telling him my story, and how I would not accept the prognosis that there was nothing I could do to reverse the vitiligo that was slowly spreading and the vitiligo that doctors predicted would overtake my entire body by the time I was 30.

At 17, this is not what I wanted to hear. I had noticed these white spots for as long as I could remember. I did not like them. I especially dislked them once they started to multiply.

When I left that team of doctors who dealt me such a harsh blow, I made up my mind that I would do something. I would find a way to stop this vitiligo from spreading. I would find a way to regain my pigmentation so that I would not lose all of my skin color by the time I was 30!

Lucky for me, my mom ordered every natural healing book and magazine that she could find. I read them all and every now and then, I would find the word vitiligo in one of those books. I would learn about various nutrients that a doctor in California was using to help people regain their natural color.

I learned how people who, like me, had been warned to avoid the sun. And how this one woman who liked to sunbathe used nutrients on her skin as a natural sunblock that ended up bringing her skin color back, when combined with sunlight.

I've encountered thousands of people with vitiligo through my business and on social media. There is one recurring thing among those of us who fight to regain our color and do it with zest and succcess! It's optimism. We believe we can do it and we make it happen!

Unfortunately, I've also encountered those who naysay any and everything that gives hope to those with vitiligo.

As a person who had vitiligo as long as I can remember, I can say with confidence, if you have a will to regain your pigmentation, there is a way!
